"Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?" While Dwayne Johnson was always cooking up something in the wrestling ring, today we've cooked and we're serving up this quiz! Of all of the greatest WWE champions of all-time, how well do you know them?

While many people might today know it as the WWE, this wrestling world didn't begin as that. Founded in 1952 by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt, the WWE began as Capitol Wrestling Corporation Ltd. This company would soon be acquired by Jess McMahon's son, Vince McMahon, the current chairman and CEO of the WWE. Once acquired by Titan Sports, Inc., it would soon transform to the WWF (World Wrestling Federation) and add on WCW (World Championship Wrestling) and ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling). Throughout this time, their wrestling world continued to grow until their name change in 2002. That's when the World Wrestling Federation became World Wrestling Entertainment. 

Throughout its long history, the WWE has seen many superstars and champions within its ring. One can't mention the greats without names like Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, and Triple H. The Rock, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker were always crowd favorites. While these are just a few WWE champions, how many of them can you remember? Let's find out!

John Cena joined the WWE in 2001 before debuting in 2002. One of the most popular WWE wrestlers, he is known for his catchphrase, "You can't see me." His finishing move is called the "Attitude Adjustment."

Also called "Diesel," this wrestler was known for his Jackknife Powerbomb.

Kevin Nash got his start in the WCW before moving on to the WWE. Also going by the name Diesel, he was a member of the nWo, or New World Order, with Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015.

Often called "The American Dream," this wrestler was the son of a plumber.

Dusty Rhodes joined the WCW in the mid-80s and was billed as the son of a plumber. His finishing move was called the "Dusty Finish." He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007.

This "Stone Cold" wrestler wasn't afraid to "Stone Cold Stunner" anyone. He even did it to the current U.S. president in 2007.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin joined the WCW in 1991 and his career grew from there. He was known for his rebellious attitude and his popular finishing move, the "Stone Cold Stunner." He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.

Commonly paired with his WWE "brother," Christian, this wrestler often put his opponents through an "execution."

Edge joined the WWF in 1998. For his storyline, he was paired with the wrestler, Christian. The duo was billed as two brothers. His finishing move was known as "Edgecution." He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012.

Going by his last name, this wrestler took his talents from the NFL to the WCW with his finishing move, the "Jackhammer."

In 1997, Goldberg joined the WCW with immediate success. He was known for his finishing move, the Jackhammer. In 2018, Goldberg was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Commonly referred to as "The Hitman," this champion was known for his signature move, the Sharpshooter.

Bret "The Hitman" Hart joined the WWF in 1984. He was known for the duo, The Hart Foundation, as well as his success on his own. His signature move was the Sharpshooter and he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2006.

Lita first joined ECW in 1999 before moving over to the WWF. She was paired with the Hardy Boyz and their trio was called Team XTreme. Lita's storyline also put her in a relationship with Jeff Hardy. She was known for her moonsault and headscissors takedown.

Rob Van Dam first got his WWE start in the WCW in 1992 before moving on to ECW in 1996. While in the ring, he first started out as Robbie V before changing his name. He was known for his finishing move, the 5-Star Frog Splash.

Known for his white eyes, this "chokeslam" wrestler was billed as the half-brother of The Undertaker.

Kane first joined the WWF in 1995 alongside Jerry Lawler. Soon after, he was transformed into the character Kane, who was billed as The Undertaker's half-brother. While they were eventually at odds, they were billed as the Brothers of Destruction.

Possibly one of the most famous WWE champions, this flashy wrestler might call you his "brother."

Hulk Hogan might be one of the most famous wrestlers to come through the WWE. He began his WCW career in the 1980s. He is known for many signature moves, one of them being his "Leg Drop." We was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.

Booker T began his WCW career in 1993 as a duo of Harlem Heat. He was known for his signature move, the scissor kick. Booker T was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.

This current WWE superstar is well-known as a duo with his brother, Matt, and is often seen with his signature move, the Swanton Bomb.

Jeff Hardy joined the WWE in 1994. In 1998, he formed the Hardy Boyz with his real-life brother, Matt Hardy. The two would go on to form Team XTreme with fellow female wrestler, Lita. Jeff Hardy is an active wrestler in the WWE as of 2018.

As the character Hunter Hearst Helmsley, you wouldn't want to be "Pedigreed" by this popular wrestler.

Triple H is probably one of the most popular wrestlers in the WWE. He has been a part of D-Generation X alongside Shawn Michaels and Chyna. In his WWE storyline, he married Vince McMahon's daughter, Stephanie, who became his real wife in 2003. The wrestler is known for his entrance and his finishing move, the pedigree.

Rikishi joined the WWF as part of the duo, Headshrinkers. He soon left his character of Fatu behind before transforming into Rikishi in 1999. He was known for his signature move, the "Stink Face." Rikishi was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015.

Also known as "Mankind" and "Cactus Jack," this wrestler is known for wearing a sock on his hand.

Mick Foley joined the WCW in 1991 as "Cactus Jack." He would later transform his character to his real life name, "Mick" Foley. He was known for carrying a dirty sock while he wrestled, using it in his signature move, the Socko Claw. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.

Chyna joined the WWF in 1997 as a member of D-Generation X, a duo of Shawn Michaels and Triple H. She was often billed at the Ninth Wonder of the World. She died in 2016.

Eddie Guerrero joined the ECW in 1995 before moving on to the WCW in the same year. He was known for this signature finisher, the Three Amigos, where he would perform three suplexes on his opponents. He died in 2005 and was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006.

Andre the Giant joined the WWF in 1982. Known for his massive height and build, he was often billed as the Eighth Wonder of the World. Andre died in 1993 and was posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame, the first wrestler to do so.

Shawn Michaels joined the WWF in 1988 and would later join forces with Triple H and Chyna for D-Generation X. He was known for his signature move, Sweet Chin Music. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
